Welcome to the Texas Independent College Foundation website. This site was created as a tool for parents and students to access information about independent colleges and universities in Texas, for donors to access information about giving to the Texas Independent College Foundation and the impact of their gifts on the students and colleges across Texas, and for member schools to access information about available funds and programs.

The Texas Independent College Foundation, founded in 1952, has raised and distributed more than $28 million to support and strengthen the undergraduate programs of our member schools. We depend on the philanthropy of corporations, foundations and individuals who understand the importance of supporting private colleges and universities as an option for students, and supporting scholarships to enable students to attend regardless of income level.

As you navigate this website, we hope you will reflect on the importance of the campus learning experience to the future of our State. Tomorrow’s leaders are enrolled in our member institutions today. It is a goal of independent higher education to ensure that these future leaders reflect the diversity of our citizenry and that their leadership is well-informed, just, and compassionate.
